Valentina Zigante has a background in economics and has, after receiving her MSc degree from University of Lund, Sweden, held positions with the UNDP Croatia and the Eurofound in Dublin researching individual well-being and quality of life. Valentina’s PhD investigated individual well-being effects of consumer choice policies in health and long-term care in European countries. Before joining the PSSRU she worked as a lecturer in comparative social policy at the University of Bristol. Valentina currently work on analysis of funding and resource flows in the care system and analysis of outcomes for carers and users of long-term care.
