My thesis develops analytical tools to explore the interaction of the social and the psychological that defines our decisions, actions and life-courses. Critically approaching both modernist and post-modernist epistemes, it suggests humanistic ways towards the synthesis stage in social sciences, self-reflexive social agency as an art d’existence, and a non-Cartesian cross-disciplinary research model. It proposes a fundamentally different way to account for social change and cultural diversity.
