Damla Aras is working towards her PhD at King’s College London where she also gives lectures on Turkish foreign policy in the Middle East. Previously, she worked as a researcher in Centre for Eurasian Strategic Studies (ASAM) in Ankara, Turkey. She regularly contributes to Turkish Daily News on Middle Eastern affairs and also works as a free-lance political risk analyst on Turkey.
