Mehmet Simsek

Mehmet Simsek is the Head of Fixed Income Strategy & Economics Research for emerging EMEA region at Merrill Lynch. Before joining Merrill Lynch, he was a senior economist at Bender Securities (a Deutsche Bank subsidiary). Prior to that, he worked as a senior economist for the US Embassy in Ankara for about four years. Mr. Simsek received his BSc in Economics with honours from Ankara University in 1988 and holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Finance and Investment from the University of Exeter (1993).
