Rosa Vercoe is currently a part-time Project Coordinator at the London Centre of Social Studies. She holds PG Diploma with Honours in Russian Language and Literature; MA in International Relations from Nottingham Trent University (2005); and MSc in Development Studies with Special Reference to Central Asia from SOAS, University of London (2014).
Previously Rosa taught in academic and international establishments in Kazakhstan and The Netherlands. She also coordinated the EC TACIS-funded projects in Kazakhstan, Russia and Azerbaijan while working in the London-based NGO ‘Consumers International’. Her current research interests include regional development and the role of SCO and China’s One Belt One Road Strategy in Central Asia, particularly in Kazakhstan.
Rosa has been closely involved in organising the LCSS’s events, including the LCSS Training Programme on Ottoman and Archival Studies and the LCSS Summer School.
